The work of the church, six days a week, in and around Cheneyville.
Our central gathering. Hymns, scripture, prayer, and the Lord’s Supper served at the rail. We believe Sunday is a feast, not a duty.
A slow, conversational study. Currently in Luke; before that we spent two years in the Psalms. All ages, coffee provided.
A quiet, candlelit half-hour of corporate prayer for our church, our town, and the world. No music, no microphones.
Sunday morning and Wednesday evening classes for ages 3–12, taught from the Westminster Children’s Catechism and the storybook Bible.
For middle and high schoolers. Two Sundays a month, plus a summer mission trip to a partner church in Honduras.
Pre-marriage counseling, parenting cohorts twice a year, and a quarterly “Date Your Spouse” evening with childcare on us.
We co-staff the Tuesday distribution at the community food pantry, alongside three other local congregations.
A small team of trained lay visitors brings communion, prayer, and a friendly face to patients and their families.
Pastor Leonard serves as volunteer chaplain to the Cheneyville Volunteer Fire Department.
Monthly Sunday-evening service inside Avoyelles Correctional, plus letter-writing and post-release support.
We support the Beltran family and their rural church plant outside Comayagua with monthly funds and an annual summer trip.
A small church garden whose entire produce is given away each summer through the food pantry.
Most of our ministries depend on volunteers, and most of our volunteers started by simply showing up to Sunday lunch. If something on this page caught your eye — or if you have a gift you’d like to put to work — please reach out. We will gladly find you a chair, a casserole dish, or a Bible class to help with.
